Palermo
Gina went to Palermo as she was asked to sing at noted Italian tenor, Pietro Picone's wedding to New Zealand surgeon Maria. The church was "La chiesa di S. Maria dell'Ammiraglio (chiamata anche 'La Martorana'), the church of S. Maria dell'Ammiraglio (also called 'La Martorana'), which dates from at least 1151 AD.
